Description

In October, 2008 the Judicial Council of California, Administrative Office of the Courts, Center for Families, Children & the Courts launched an ongoing effort to create greater cooperation and exchange of information between state courts and Native American tribal courts and communities in California. This Request for Proposals (RFP) addresses one of the areas of great need that has been identified by our work to date: accessible, accurate data about juvenile, family, criminal, and related matters in Native American communities. The purpose of this RFP is to secure a contract to provide the services of a consultant to help identify and describe sources, or potential sources, of such data. The timeline for this project runs from March, 2010 through the end of August, 2010. The total amount of the contract is $30,000.00 inclusive of all costs. Successful applicants will have proven experience both in working with such data and with Native American communities in California. Successful proposals must include provisions for convening a meeting of data stakeholders and a plan for identifying and describing actual and potential data sources.

Questions should be directed to solicitations@jud.ca.gov by February 18, 2010, at close of business.

Proposals must be received by February 25, 2010, at close of business.
