Notice of Intent to Award
The Judicial Council of California (JUDICIAL COUNCIL) is the chief policy making agency of the California judicial system. The California Constitution directs the council to improve the administration of justice by surveying judicial business, recommending improvements to the courts, making recommendations annually to the Governor and the Legislature and by adopting rules for court administration, practice, and procedure, and performs other functions prescribed by law.
The Information Technology Office of the JUDICIAL COUNCIL is housed in the Administrative Services Division and is responsible for assisting the courts in achieving its technology objectives. It is directly responsible for the development, acquisition, implementation, and support of automated systems in the appellate courts and the JUDICIAL COUNCIL.
The JUDICIAL COUNCIL seeks to identify and retain a qualified service provider that is able to provide off-site data storage and related services. The services are expected to be performed between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018 with four (4) possible consecutive one-year option terms, at the sole discretion of the JUDICIAL COUNCIL.
Proposals should include reference to additional services available from the service provider that may be of value to the JUDICIAL COUNCIL even if they are outside of the scope of this RFP. Examples may include the ability to provide consulting services, cloud/online backup services and/or media destruction.
